“How do you pronounce APKR?”
We get that question a lot! Quite a few have called it “A-P-K-R” which makes sense because it’s an acronym. But it’s actually pronounced as (ap-ker).
“What does APKR stand for?”
Great question!
Jasmine is the founder of APKR Marketing and she came up with the acronym, APKR, when she was about 12 years old. It represented values she had as a kid. After over a decade, she is now passing on the acronym to her marketing firm while infusing it with a refreshed sense of purpose that reflects her values and the brand’s desired identity:

Founder
Jasmine is a versatile digital marketer with a diverse background and five years of experience in web development, web design, SEO, workflow management, social media, and entrepreneurship.
With her multidisciplinary education from UBC and Langara, and her self-taught efforts to enhance her skills, Jasmine successfully led the marketing department of a Vancouver-based bookkeeping firm that contributed to a $2M acquisition deal with Deloitte, one of the biggest accounting firms. In addition, her marketing efforts contributed to achieving 50-60% revenue growth for a seven-figure accounting company based in Ottawa. Jasmine also co-founded an e-commerce company that’s focused on promoting women empowerment, highlighting Philippine culture, forming brand partnerships, and featuring products from established brands and emerging small businesses in the Philippines, while supporting non-profit organizations in the country.

Angelika is a Toronto-based creative and skilled marketing professional with five years of experience in social media management, content marketing, product development and branding.
She collaborated extensively with both local and international clients to create and implement forward-thinking social media content strategies, oversaw digital marketing initiatives, and reinforced ideas through deliberate implementation and refinement. Angelika’s diverse range of experiences includes collaborating with a U.S.-based academic publisher, improving SEO and digital presence for a political campaign, managing 80 automobile dealership accounts for one of the largest car dealerships in Asia, and helping a health and wellness company promote a K-Pop fan meeting event with Momoland, a well-known South Korean girl group.
